School of Visual Arts

The Centre for Performing ARTS School of Visual ARTS  offers classes to students from pre school through senior adult in age and skill levels appropriate to the class. Workshops, classes, camps are offered in all mediums including oils, acrylics, pastels, as well as interpretive art. Island Folk Art which includes utilizing local, natural materials found here in PEI is offered in workshops and camps year round in 12 week semester programs. Summer and March break camps are offered annually.

Future plans for the visual arts classes include offering pottery and stained glass workshops.

The Gallery, the newest addition to the Centre for Performing ARTS is sch open daily  to showcase local as well as visiting artists and visual arts talent. Artists

"ILLUSIONS" OPENING RECEPTION PATRONS OF THE ARTS

 have the opportunity to display their work and have opening receptions for the community to enjoy their accomplishment on display. Artists in residence programs will be added to the agenda in the near future.
